Interesting read, thank you! The best workplace leader I ever had was such a rarity that when it became time to move on he was the thing I would miss the most. There were many reasons that he was such a great leader but chief among them was the fact that whenever somebody made a mistake he would not fly off the handle but rather sit them down and discuss any needs they might have in order to be able to do their job better next time. He did this not because it was company policy or any such thing but because he understood that his job was to help his team reach their potential.

Sounds simple but at the time this was just a completely fresh perspective that I had never seen before!
